In partnership with Oakland County, we hosted 30 students from Oxford Bridges High School for Manufacturing Day 2025 on October 3rd. We provided an inside look at Oerlikon to inspire local students to consider pursuing a career in modern manufacturing and skilled trades.

🎗️ Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Oerlikon

Throughout October, Oerlikon is joining the global effort to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

As part of this initiative, the Oerlikon Women’s Council encourages all colleagues to wear pink to show support and use dedicated materials and share self-check manuals.

But most of all - to promote regular screenings and open conversations. In the words of Sayali Rokde, Data Engineer at Oerlikon: “Breast cancer can affect anyone, and awareness is the first step to protection. Make self-checks a habit, because early detection saves lives.”

Together, we can help foster a culture of awareness, support, and prevention.

Last week, the Oerlikon Guelph team hit the greens at the Canada Plastics Golf Tournament, hosted at Piper’s Heath Golf Club in Milton, Ontario.

This annual event, organized by Canadian Plastics and SPE Ontario, brought together professionals from across the plastics industry for a day of networking, friendly competition, prizes, and great food.
Our team proudly sponsored a hole and had the chance to meet with a variety of companies. We showcased Oerlikon’s many solutions for the plastics industry while also highlighting the strengths of our Guelph facility.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us—we look forward to building on these new opportunities and continuing to grow our presence in the industry.
