Established in 1986 in Minneapolis, MN, Leeds designs and manufactures comparison microscopes and imaging systems for forensic laboratories in the U.S. Leeds comparison microscopes include:

LCF3: firearms and tool marks comparison microscope built with Olympus optics
LCF2: firearms and tool marks comparison microscope built with Olympus optics
Discovery-Z: motorized firearms comparison microscop

e built with Zeiss optics
Discovery: firearms comparison microscope built with Zeiss optics
Trace-Z: trace evidence comparison microscope built with Zeiss optics
LCT: trace evidence comparison microscope built with Olympus optics

Leeds imaging tools include:
LSV2: Leeds Spectral Vision, a multi-wavelength imaging tool used to view, capture, and document evidence
Leeds N-IRC: a Near-Infrared color camera and software kit designed for the Zeiss Stemi stereo microscope

Leeds offers exceptional microscope service with a superior reputation in the industry for calibration and repair of all brands of microscopes. Leeds has been certified by PJLA and meets the requirements of international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for calibrations. Leeds forensic products can be purchased on GSA Schedule Contract -07F-097CA. Leeds is the exclusive North American distributor of Evofinder®, Ballistic Identification System (BIS) as well as the exclusive US distributor of Moveed® Forensic Illumination and Imaging Systems.
