Discount Solar Credits Available!

We're excited to offer the last few positions in one of our Community Solar projects to customers in National Grid territory. Customers that sign up will receive discounted credits on their National Grid bill generated from our local solar array. Sign up for 10% savings on your electric bill today!

How it Works:

- We pair you with a local solar project that generates electric bill credits (think of these as “utility gift cards”).
- We assign these bill credits to your electric bill which substantially lowers the amount you owe to
Eversource/National Grid each month.
- We invoice you for an amount LESS THAN the amount of bill credits we assigned to your bill.
- You save money each and every month for the duration of your subscription!
- Savings are based on how many bill credits you purchase & availability of new solar projects coming online.
- You only pay us AFTER you've received your discounted bill credits.

Example:
- We pair you with a local solar array generating approximately $100 worth of credits per month.
- We allocate $100 worth of bill credits (or “utility gift cards”) to your bill, reducing the amount you owe to Eversource/National Grid by $100.
- We invoice you separately for $90. You save $10 that month.
- Savings would be about $10 x 12 = $120 per year
- You ‘Go Green’ for NO investment and NO risk!

This interesting article from solarmagazine.com reviews Europe's annual Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition. At the virtual event, sustainability goals amongst solar production, bi-facial panels, and impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the solar industry were discussed. It's great to hear about leaders in the industry continuously trying to make the world a better place. AED encourages anyone interested in solar, or who works in the field to read this text to catch up on solar news!

Solar Magazine interviewed experts from EU PVSEC to have a review of the 2020 event's achievements, and get insights into future development.

The wind energy industry is growing at rapid speed. Globally, wind power quadrupled from 2000 to 2006. If this growth momentum is kept up, wind energy will be able to meet one-third of global energy demands by 2050. That doesn't leave much room for fossil fuels!

This compelling article from Science Daily discusses a 25 year study on the effectiveness of nuclear power. Their findings concluded that nuclear power is not an effective low carbon energy source. Not to say this is the worst option, but investing in renewables like wind and solar is a far better alternative. The study also showed that in developing countries, nuclear programmes were actually associated with higher emissions - wow!
Needless to say, renewables are the future of clean energy, it's time we all get on board.

If countries want to lower emissions as substantially, rapidly and cost-effectively as possible, they should prioritize support for renewables, rather than nuclear power, the findings of a major new energy study concludes.
