The Multi-Sport Model

There are many different types of clubs and facilities in which padel courts can be built...in public spaces, private padel-only clubs, and equally popular, within multi-sport clubs and resorts.

We believe that, when it comes to racket sports, all racket sports can co-exist, thrive even, together – and that padel can exist successfully within the multi-sport club model. In fact, perhaps it is when presented at venues alongside other sports that padel will flourish most.

This May, we'll be welcoming two very special guests to dive straight into this topic, with court constructor extraordinaire and the VP of the United States' Northeast Padel Eric Loftus; and seven-time Spanish Padel Champion and two-time World Runner-up, Alberto Rodriguez Pinon.

Just two of our gliterring cast of all-star guests at the very first Padel World Summit in Malaga this May!

How to Maintain Your Padel Court: A Guide for Court Owners

Once a court is installed, it's important to properly maintain it to ensure it provides optimal playing conditions for years to come. Here's a guide to help you keep your court in top shape.

General Maintenance

After installation, it's important to do a final review of your court with the installation team to ensure everything is in place and working correctly. Over time, your turf will expand and contract, which may cause seams to become more visible. This is not a flaw in the turf or installation but a sign of playability. Additional sand or seaming glue may need to be added as necessary to maintain a firm playing surface.

Monthly Maintenance

Every month, it's important to inspect the net and tighten it as needed. Use a leaf blower to remove any debris from the surface of the court. Check under and around the glass panels for rocks or debris and remove them if necessary. Clean the glass as desired with standard cleaning supplies.

Quarterly Maintenance

Every quarter, inspect the anchor bolts and screws and tighten them if necessary. Lubricate sliding doors if applicable. Add additional sand and brush in as necessary to heavily played areas.

Six-Month Maintenance

Every six months, inspect the steel for any scratches and repair them with touch-up paint. Inspect the mesh for any damage and straighten it if necessary. Check the glass fasteners and clearances between glass panels to ensure the glass has not shifted or is touching any other surface. Oil the net crank. Inspect turf seams and address them with sand or glue as recommended. Inspect LED light orientations and adjust them if needed.

Yearly Maintenance

Once a year, inspect nylon washers and replace them if needed. Inspect neoprene and replace it if needed. Check LED lighting intensity levels or adjust them as necessary.

By following these maintenance tips, you can ensure your Padel court stays in top condition and provides a great playing experience for you and your guests. Happy playing!
