Live from the 2026 MAME Summit!

Harris Hill Automation is excited to be exhibiting today at the Manufacturers Association of Maine 2026 Summit, connecting with industry leaders, networking, and discussing the future of manufacturing in Maine.

Big things are happening in our state, and today’s Gubernatorial Forum is a crucial piece of the puzzle. Understanding the vision for the next chapter of leadership plans to support our workforce and innovation is a significant topic for the nearly 2,000 producers of medical devices, aerospace and defense materials, wood products, food and beverage, and consumer goods in Maine. Harris Hill Automation is proud to play our part in this growing ecosystem by helping local manufacturers scale with custom robotics and turnkey solutions.

Harris Hill Automation would like to applaud the accomplishments of both of these robotics teams, which we proudly sponsor. These students invest countless hours into these projects, building so much more than technical solutions; managing the budget, schedule, and learning to work as a cohesive team. Major kudos to the staff and educators who mentor, encourage, and lead these programs.

Monmouth VEX Robotics - Team 93303G and 93303H finished the local competitions strong, achieving another chance to compete at the World Championship held in St. Louis this week!

First Robotics - Team 11131 Brainstorm, in coordination with Maine Community Robotics, competed hard and finished as part of the 3rd place alliance at the recent competition, and took home a stack of additional awards in the process.

Maine is facing a critical lag compared to the rest of the country in robotic integrations, and factories are struggling to keep production lines running due to workforce challenges. These students are the next generation of skilled engineers to transform manufacturing, deliver solutions, and bring progress to Maine manufacturing. We are honored to support their robotics journey!!

Shaun Gill joins us with years of hands-on, practical experience and a strong big-picture perspective shaped by extensive exposure to industrial automation and production environments. His real-world expertise and systems-level thinking make him an incredible asset to our clients and projects.

Ben Franklin, soon to graduate with a degree in Computer Science, is already making an impact. He’s quickly gaining traction in PLC, HMI, and collaborative robot programming, bringing fresh energy and forward-thinking innovation to our automation solutions.

When Harris Hill Automation was formed, we set out to solve manufacturing challenges. It has grown into so much more... the amazing relationships we've built, the complex projects we've tackled, and the real impact we're having on our customers' manufacturing operations.

From simple conveyor applications, custom automation solutions, and robotics integrations, to 3D inspection systems, from medical devices to defense applications, we've had the privilege of working alongside some truly remarkable teams. Every project taught us something, and every customer relationship has strengthened our commitment to excellence.

As we celebrate this milestone, we're grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us, the partnerships we've established, and the talented team that makes it all possible.

As 2025 comes to a close and Harris Hill Automation approaches our 6th anniversary, I wanted to share my immense gratitude for the role you’ve played in our journey. Our diverse network of customers, vendors, partners, and trade organizations is nothing short of amazing, and we wish you all a safe, prosperous, and happy 2026!
