Today, on Brett McCrumb’s birthday, we pause to honor a man whose life, work, and leadership were firmly rooted in faith, integrity, and service to others.

Brett believed his work was a calling. He led with humility, honesty, and a deep trust in God, striving to do what was right even when it was difficult. He took great pride in his work on Flathead Lake, but his greatest investment was always in people; giving them responsibility, believing in their potential, and finding joy in watching them rise to the occasion.

Brett’s faith shaped the way he led and the way he lived. He understood that true success wasn’t measured by what he built, but by how he treated others and the example he left behind.

Though Brett passed in May of 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, his legacy continues. His values remain the foundation of McCrumb Construction & Marine, Inc., and his guidance is felt daily as Stefan steps forward to lead with the same principles his father instilled.

We take comfort in God’s promise:
“Well done my good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”

Partial crib removal, build over and length extension on the crib dock on the marina in Blue Bay.

A lot was accomplished in 4 days, total removal of the second crib and the start of filling the first crib with rock and the start of putting rough cut timbers on.

Two side by side projects in Bigfork. This will be a first for us, the guys are building our typical piling dock, but these two docks will also have all steel frame and rock filled cribs. Regulations no longer allow for continuous crib structures, so there are 3 individual, smaller structures, placed in key locations, that should help preserve the gravel beach.

Racing the up coming storm, snow possibly tonight and below zero this weekend and next week. 12 holes drilled on Wednesday and 10 today and the main walkway joists welded down.
