Hurricane is on the course today - as a proud sponsor of the Brian R. Bill Memorial Golf Tournament.

Every year this tournament brings people together to remember Chief Petty Officer Brian R. Bill. A Navy SEAL, son of Connecticut, and someone who gave absolutely everything. Eight deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Four Bronze Stars. A Purple Heart. An enduring legacy. Gone on August 6, 2011, along with 29 other Americans in a single moment over Wardak Province.

The Brian Bill Foundation heals the invisible wounds of war: providing fully-funded therapeutic retreats for Special Operations warriors and their families battling PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and chronic pain.

In this final year of the tournament, Erik Liebegott, Josh Paille, and Jimi Grasso are presenting something truly unforgettable for the auction. A one-of-a-kind locker crafted from rare woods, custom-etched handblown glass, and painstaking handcraftsmanship from top to bottom. Stocked with an extraordinary selection of spirits and wine. Today is Children of Fallen Patriots Day, a time to honor the sons and daughters who have lost a parent while serving our country.

These children bear a burden no child should have to bear. They grow up with an empty space that cannot be filled, missing a parent who will not see them graduate, walk them down the aisle, or meet their grandchildren.
