KEITH is proud to be part of the 2026 Reality Capture User Conference hosted by Leica Geosystems in Miami Beach, June 8–11, 2026.

As part of this year’s program, our team will be contributing to key conversations shaping the future of reality capture.

Bryan Merritt, LS PSM, will present "LOA: Because 'Close Enough' Isn’t a Deliverable," focusing on how clearly defined Levels of Accuracy help set expectations, reduce risk, and drive more reliable results across projects.

Andrew Hunter will be presenting on "The Hidden Cost of Big Data in Reality Capture and How to Control It," sharing insights on how intentional data strategies can reduce complexity and improve overall outcomes.

We’re looking forward to a strong week of collaboration, technical insight, and knowledge sharing with industry peers and leaders. See you there.

June 1 marks the start of hurricane season, and with El Niño in play this year, stronger storms are more likely. Preparedness matters and now is the time to get ready. Storm readiness starts long before a storm is on the radar. Hurricanes can severely impact communities, from infrastructure damage to service disruptions, making early preparation essential.

KEITH’s Storm Readiness Guide provides town and city managers and government administrators with a practical checklist to prepare for storms, hurricanes, and flooding. Combined with KEITH’s municipal services, communities can strengthen resilience and better protect what matters most.

We partner with local governments to review short-term response plans and develop long-range strategies that reduce risk and improve preparedness for future extreme weather events.

Mobile LiDAR on wheels and on water.

Our team captured the Lake Jesup Bridge over SR 417 from every angle producing a fully integrated 3D model of the entire structure without disrupting traffic.

As part of the SR 417 Seminole Expressway Resurfacing and Safety Upgrades for the Florida Department of Transportation, the deployed an innovative dual‑platform Mobile LiDAR approach, mounting the system on both a vehicle and a boat to maximize safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a challenging environment.

We are proud to help with major improvements to Pine Tree Estates in Parkland.

Our provided Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) and surveying services for the Pinetree Estates Roadway Resurfacing Project, a transformative effort that rehabilitated approximately 12 miles of 18‑foot‑wide residential roadways throughout the Pinetree Estates neighborhood. This network spans areas north and south of Holmberg Road—including local roads that connect neighbors, families, and daily life across the community.

With existing pavement built over limerock and sand, prior assessments identified inconsistencies in the roadway base. To address this and deliver long‑term performance, the City implemented full‑depth reclamation (FDR)—an advanced, sustainable approach that reconstructs the roadway by reusing existing materials on-site—followed by 2 inches of new asphalt. The result is safer, smoother, and more resilient roads built to modern City standards.

KEITH supported the project from planning through construction, assisting with design coordination, contractor procurement for qualified FDR teams, and delivering continuous CEI and surveying services throughout construction. Through proactive field involvement and constructability insight, our team helped identify efficiencies that resulted in several hundred thousand dollars in cost savings while enabling the project to be completed ahead of schedule.

KEITH’s scope included:
• Construction administration
• Pre‑ and post‑construction surveying
• CEI services
• Engineering support for project coordination

The construction contract was executed with two concurrent road crews to accelerate delivery and minimize disruption to residents.
We’re proud to support the City of Parkland in delivering infrastructure that strengthens mobility, enhances safety, and improves quality of life.
