More storms later today. Possibly widespread but isolated.

Think monsoon rains.

Main threats with these will be small hail at times and gusty winds.

No tornado threat.

🫩 I wanna get my wheat cut...

Stop what youre doing for a sec and read this.
Im sure everyone reading this knows somebody who deals with bullying regularly.

And im sure everyone here knows somebody who struggles with mental problems.

Normally those two concepts are a give-and-take relationship.

Other times they go hand-in-hand.

I wish more people would be more forgiving of others problems and when they are very clearly hurt and struggling, not kicking them like a stray dog.

But it is the unfortunate world we live in that there are people out there who see to it that anybody struggling is no better than a cow patty... F***l matter dropped from a bovine's ass.

And to make matters worse, wont stop even after the person they are doing it to attempts to take his own life.

Ive walked in on one of my friends swinging from the rafters, and just 48 short hours ago, another one attempted to light himself on fire on facebook live. His reasoning was that the more pain he caused himself going out, the more pleasure it would give them in knowing he was gone.

Su***de is never the answer. Bringing yourself pain to make others happy is never the answer.

And i drive heavy trucks... Pilot cars help carry the load safely.

Always have a pilot car. Always have somebody you can call and ask for help when it seems the entire world is against you.

No matter how many people are against you, i can assure you, nobody wants to be the person to kick down your door at 3am to what remains of you.

Its a tough burden to bear. I know. But in a world where everything is falling down around us, let us all take this moment to lift one another up.

I want to let everyone know to check in on your friend. Call them. Text them. Don't let them go it alone. And even if it's a 5 minute conversation, it could very much mean the difference between them waking up the next day and you having to read their obituary in the paper asking yourself why you didnt take 30 seconds.

Finally got the chain that pulled the Dominator out back to the rightful owner of Dennis Kincaid.

Wheat is looking dang good all parts of north central Oklahoma.
Looking like if rain stops and we can dry out, possibly last week of may, first week of june for harvest!

GOD BLESS OUR FARMERS!

You know when they said Southeast at 20 mph, I thought they would go much faster considering the wind speed that's associated with these.

But yeah. I've been out here on 92nd Street for the past about hour... And these things are super slow...

Here's a picture of some clouds being torn apart by ground turbulence. Nothing tornadic. Just some good gentle rain at this point and some wind. Can't rule out the wind

As it shows, the cold front is currently located in a line extending from manhattan, Kansas down to Dodge City. At Dodge City is the convergent boundary with dryline heading south into Western Oklahoma.

05/18/2026

You know I'm going to be honest with you, I don't think these dry line storms in Western Oklahoma have it today...

We'll get some rain that we've been asking for with round two coming in anywhere from about 11:00 p.m. to midnight...

And if we can keep off most of the rain, what do we say next weekend... That wheat harvest looking pretty good...

East of 81 starting to get golden.
