On Wednesday, October 7th, LogistiQ participated in the Ottawa County Business Advisory Council Career Showcase at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds. The event hosts juniors and 8th graders from Ottawa County to learn about local businesses and career opportunities in the area. Students tried popping rollers in a conveyor and our stores game, seeing who could collect items on the pick list focusing on speed and accuracy.

LogistiQ would like to shine light on 🔦Kaitlyn Lause 🔦 for the month of October! Kaitlyn has been with LogistiQ for three years, previously working as an R&D Technician and currently serves as a Fabricator II on third shift. In her R&D role, she operated the laser and press brake, performed welding and assembly work, and provided support to other departments as needed. This hands-on experience allowed her to develop a strong understanding of LogistiQ’s products, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. In her current role as a Fabricator II, Kaitlyn continues to operate the laser and press brake to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Her versatility, technical knowledge, and experience across multiple areas of production make her a valuable member of the manufacturing team.

This past Thursday, team members of both LEWCO, Inc. and LogistiQ attended the Greater Sandusky Partnership Annual Meeting, at Kalahari Resort, presenting on regional progress throughout the year and the challenge to "Think Bigger." LEWCO and LogistiQ received the 2026 Regional Collaboration Award for their recent $24 million expansion project. This project would not have been made possible without the teams at Team NEO, Ottawa County Improvement Corporation, Regional Growth Partnership Northwest Ohio, Ohio Department of Development, and JobsOhio.

That’s a wrap on another great MHI Annual Conference.👏 Palm Springs treated us well!

It’s been a valuable few days filled with excellent keynote speakers, insightful breakout sessions, meaningful conversations, and new connections across the material handling industry.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, strengthen industry relationships, and spend time with both familiar and new faces. 📦
