Gabel Welding Inc./Minderman Marine Products is looking to hire a Welder/Fabricator. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a custom fabrication shop or marine/industrial construction environment is required. Must have a valid drivers license.
Hours are 6am to 4:30pm monday through Thursday with overtime as required. Company paid health insurance. 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year. Pay based on experience and skills.

Semi load of dock frames and components for a local marina on its way to be galvanized. Dock fabrication and repairs are in full swing throughout the winter and spring. 2 more marinas on the schedule for this spring and summer and 27 docks and ramps to sandblast, repair, and paint. A driver ran into the exit gate at a local subdivision. We removed the gate, cut out damaged steel tubes, straightened remaining structure, welded in new tubing, replaced mesh and signage. Gate was then sprayed with industrial grade primer and paint. We installed the gate and adjusted components accordingly after repairs. We also fabricated and installed a new front panel for the operator station(not pictured).

Gabel Welding Inc/Minderman Marine Products is seeking qualified candidates for a fabrication/construction position. Applicants must have verifiable 2 to 5 years experience in a custom fabrication, industrial construction, or marine construction. Requirements include:
Ability to work outside
Valid drivers license
Knowledge/experience with fabrication equipment such as drills,presses, plasma cutters, cutting torches, ironworker, press brake, layout tools
Must have the ability to build custom parts/structures start to finish
Must be proficient in MIG welding- stick and TIG experience a plus
Experience on or around heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, skid steer, dump truck

2 weeks paid vacation

Boot allowance
Work hours are 7:30am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
Overtime and Saturday work as needed

Big project finished in September. Brand new 20 ton Algonac boat hoist installed in Freeport, Long Island, New York. This new hoist was built in our shop for Yachtsmens Cove Marina. Yachtsmens Cove is a long time customer that purchased their first Algonac hoist in the early 70's. We dismantled their original hoist and installed our new 20ton hoist on the existing rails. We build our original Algonac rail hoists up to 40 ton capacity.

Gabel Welding Inc./Minderman Marine Products is seeking applicants for the position of welder/fabricator.
Requirements for the position are:
- 2 to 3 years verifiable experience in fabrication/construction
- valid drivers license
-proficient in MIG/TIG welding ( stick welding experience is a plus)
- knowledge and experience with fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, ironworker, press brake, drill press
- Ability to read and comprehend prints and shop drawings
- Ability to lift 75lbs
-Ability to work outside in the elements
- Ability to work some overtime as needed
- Experience with Heavy Equipment and semi trailer repair is a plus
-Plant maintenence experience is a plus

Pay is based on experience.
