Most of you have probably heard the news; the crumbling building on the corner of Madison and Second Street has to come down. Attempts are being made to salvage some of the historical architecture for use in future PC improvement projects. Progress is necessary but preserving as much of our town history as possible will always be important to us.

Here's an ANNOUNCEMENT: As a thank you to the people of Port Clinton, there will be an impromptu free showing of the newly restored Port Clinton Lighthouse this Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. Conservancy personnel will be giving guided tours of the lighthouse to anyone who wants one. A tent will be set up where you can purchase a lighthouse mug or t-shirt. Spread the word!
