Tower Technicians - Local Work - Local Hire - Immediate Opportunity
Established Port St Lucie Florida based company SouthShore Communications, LLC. specializing in wireless cell site construction and maintenance is seeking experienced tower climbers who currently live in or who are willing to permanently relocate to, the Treasure Coast Area of Florida (Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, or Okeechobee County).
Job Requirements (not all inclusive):
• Preferred to have at least 1 year of experience in the wireless industry as a tower climber and certified by ComTrain or equivalent. We will train you!
• Must adhere to safety and quality control at all times adhering to OSHA, Company and Customer requirements.
• Must have a clean valid driver's license with no DUIs and reliable transportation.
• Must be drug free and pass drug testing.
• Must be willing to travel in Florida without restrictions. Returning Home most nights and weekends when working out of town.
• Willingness and ability to work long hours, overtime and/or weekends without restrictions
• Must be self-motivated, hardworking, able to work as a team or individually.
• Must be able to climb and work at elevations over 50 ft for extended periods of time
• Must be healthy and fit to work outdoors for extended periods and lift 50lbs without assistance
• Must have or obtain Competent Climber Rigging and Rescue, OSHA 10hr Safety training, First Aid/CPR & Blood borne Pathogen, RF Awareness
• Must have own hand tools and skilled with use various power tools
Skills & Experience Required:
• Installation of RF components (BTS, RRU's, Antennas, TMA's, Diplexers, Fiber, etc.)
• Capable of identifying essential materials and tools to carry out scope of work
• Experience with capstan hoist, crane signaling, steel work, cable management, etc.
• Certifications or experience with Fiber Testing, Sweep Testing, Antenna Alignment, RET Controller Systems, BTS Manager or related carrier operating systems
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and various photo management, customer close out software applications and other software
• Must be able to or learn to troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications equipment and cabling using a variety of testing equipment.
Pay & Benefits:
• Starting Pay based on experience. $18 - $28 Per Hour.
• Paid PTO, Holidays, Company matching 401k available.

• When applicable we pay hotels directly, per diem paid by company issued credit card daily (no out of pocket expenses)
• We pay drive time at your pay rate.
