The most important thing to do first is get your house dried out, not necessarily by a MOLD REMEDIATION COMPANY. We or you can cut drywall, put fans out. If your ac is working, run it! The more air moving, the better.
Once we have it all dried out, I can come with a moisture meter and see if we still have moisture At this point, if needed, we get a mold assessor.
AVOID PAYING - $30,000 or more to these companies to put a few fans and a dehumidifier in place for a few days!

For those of you who have Alexa or Google devices, set a reminder on the 1st of every month to change your ac filters. You will extend the life of your system by years! When your system can breathe, your compressor is less stressed and will last longer!

What is the most common problem with your ac freezing up?
Dirty coils!
Remember to change your filters. Once a month is recommended. Once a year call us to come do a maintenance and cleaning of your coils. Your ac is a large investment. Take care of it to get the longest life possible.

Now is the time to start worrying about your old system. If you still have an R22 system which is the old freon, you need to plan on replacing soon. This freon is now in very short supply. It is not being made anymore and the price per pound is very high. Call us today for a quote!

With all the leftovers at this time of the year, our refrigerators need to be able to breathe. When storing containers in both the fridge and freezer, try to leave room around them and between them and the walls of the compartment. Good air flow will prevent lost food and broken refrigerators!

Remember, heat pumps only work when it is over about 40 degrees. After that, they freeze over and your emergency heat strips kick in. It is normal. Once the temps rise, it will kick back on in heat pump mode.
