This is the scale model for Charelle Cottages. There are 7 small cottages (from approx. 900 to 1100 square feet), situated to maximize privacy and preservation of large trees. Each cottage is unique, and designed for its site. There is off-street parking, which is why you see model people and cars to scale on the model. Those dowels represent the largest trees, and are shown to scale, representing both diameter and height of the trees. Of course, the canopy is missing so you can see the model.

Did I mention how committed we are to trees?!

We will be sharing models of each cottage as they are finished by the architect. Stay tuned!

TerraHaven Homes' first project is a 7-cottage development called Charrelle Cottages. Located in Port Townsend, on a heavily wooded lot, this project was unveiled at the Jefferson County Homebuilders Association Home and Landscape Show 2 weeks ago. Using a special foundation that minimizes compaction of roots, we will be able to preserve and maintain all of the large healthy trees on the lot.
