Port City Mechanical has a new fleet of local Mobile Boiler Units (MBU) to meet your needs, whether it’s an emergency, or a planned outage.
MBU-3 shown below is housed in a 20’ conex box and can deliver 100 Boiler Horsepower of low pressure steam or hydronic hot water, while burning natural gas, LP gas or #2 fuel oil. The side arm heater has a solid 100 GPM output of domestic hot water at a 100 degree rise!
To be even more proactive, have us come to your facility and install permanent rental boiler connections. Let winter rip!

Chuck Greenlaw! He knows, making good business decisions, is not always about profit.

The owner of Port City Mechanical called Charlie Martin at Maine Plywood and told him about the boilers that were being scrapped at the former B&M Baked Bean plant. Now all Martin needed was a crane that could lift 90,000 pounds and a small fleet of trucks.

A little late on the post but I’m happy to share the finished product on our State of Maine East Campus Steam Plant project.

(2) 300 HP and (1) 150 HP Hurst Model 250s fitted with Stackmaster economizers and dual fuel sub 30 Oilon burners with O2 trim, all controlled by state of the art PLC based Hurst Firemaster controls.

A 600 gallon Hurst condensate surge tank and new Grundfos variable speed feed pumps (pulling from existing Hurst DA).

A big shout out to my PCM crew, Welch Electric, Cote Crane and C&R Insulation - a tried and true team!
