2025 Fall Indoor Volleyball

It’s time to start thinking about Fall Indoor Volleyball! I am certainly looking forward to getting back onto the hardwood! The Fall season is always my favorite – it’s a nice transition from the great Maine Summer to the Winter holiday season! This is the only league that we will run indoor for the remainder of 2025 outside of the special Quickie League session that runs through the holidays.

REGISTRATION OPENS: Friday, August 15th at 8:00AM

NEW THIS SESSION: If either Tuesday 4’s or Thursday 6’s leagues fill with 24 teams – there will be a prize package for the winners of both the A & B Leagues. The prize pool will exceed $400 for 4’s and $600 for 6’s.

If all current leagues finish at their current ending dates – there will be no overlap between Summer and Fall leagues.

What We Offer: 2025 Fall Leagues

Monday – Reverse Coed – RCO
Dates: 9/15 – 11/4
Times: 6:00 – 10:00
Space will be limited for RCO to 8 teams. If there is additional expressed interest we can get a second gym and expand – but the current plan is to limit the RCO league to 8 teams with a head-to-head structure. We are increasing by 1 point for this session - going to 25 points.

Registration will be a little different this fall - If you would like to captain a RCO team in the fall – please reach out to me to hold your spot. I will hold RCO team slots ahead of registration and allow your teammates to register on 8/15. This will give a better gauge on gym space leading up to registration. (All teams must play within 2 points of the points cap)

Points Cap: 25 Points

Tuesday – 4’s Coed
Dates: 9/9 – 10/28
Times: 6:00 – 10:00
We are going to be running this league in the same format as the previous few years of indoor. There will be space for 24 teams – we will play at 2 locations, alternating each week. We will be offering an A League & B League. Movement between leagues is expected in season.

Should this league fill, there will be a total prize pool for the league exceeding $400.

Points Cap: C+ with an extra point for 2+ ladies

Thursday – 6’s Coed
Dates: 9/11 – 10/30
Times: 6:00 – 10:00
We are going to be running this league in the same format as the previous few years of indoor. There will be space for 24 teams – we will play at 2 locations, alternating each week. We will be offering an A League & B League. Movement between leagues is expected in season.

Should this league fill, there will be a total prize pool for the league exceeding $600.

Points Cap: C+ 24 Points

Registration will be priced into 3 phases. Tiered pricing is designed to encourage you to sign up early. Register early and pay less.

Information: This is a higher level league with a C+ cap. If you have never played RCO before please speak with me before signing up - this league is best suited for experienced players with RCO experience. The format of the league will be determined based on the number of sign ups.

The location of play is not yet confirmed. I am trying to convince Stevens that they should adjust their Monday schedule to accommodate us - Steve is letting me know later this week. If that does not happen we will be looking for a backup gym, possibly Reiche.

All leagues are 8 weeks long. 7 weeks of regular season play followed by a double elimination tournament.

All dates and locations are subject to change. We never know what to expect with weather cancellations and we get a couple "surprise cancellations" from the City of Portland every year. All dates shift forward 1 week when cancellations occur.
