Ironworkers Local 29 – One of Our Brothers Needs Your Support

Last week, Brother Jeremy Farmer suffered a serious medical emergency when a blood vessel ruptured in his leg. Like many ironworkers, Jeremy pushed through the discomfort, not realizing the severity of the situation.

Since then, Jeremy has undergone multiple emergency surgeries, including the removal of hardware from previous knee procedures so doctors could treat a severe infection and sepsis. He is currently receiving IV antibiotics and is expected to remain on treatment for at least three weeks before physicians can fully assess the extent of the damage to his legs.

At this time, there is no clear prognosis regarding the length of Jeremy's recovery or what his future mobility may look like. Jeremy and his family are facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain road ahead.

We ask our Ironworkers family, friends, and supporters to keep Jeremy in your thoughts and prayers. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help ease the financial burden on Jeremy and his family during this challenging time.
