As such it is natural that our organization has grown into a responsibly engaged public benefit corporation. The root of our key benefit mandates are (1) to reduce or displace greenhouse gasses and (2) providing community service in the areas we have projects. Inherent core values align with the benefit corporation model, thus allowing the leadership at Grün to focus on generating value for the future of our operations. As a result Grün Community Energy is not bound by general shortsighted financial gain as is commonly observed in the traditional business landscape.
