Many thanks to Cooper Mak who joined us from Sol-Ark to install the 15 kW inverter for our certification testing. We are thankful to have Sol-Ark as a partner as we move forward to certify our turbine with their solar & wind hybrid inverter, a first in the industry!

DWT had the privilege of hosting Eduardo Sanz and Yon Roy from Lancor, our generator supplier in Spain, last week. Not only did they get to see the turbine in action, but there were able to discuss the generator performance in detail with our Chief Engineer, Dan Valyou.

DWT continues to move forward with strategic partners in the industry! Sol-Ark Solar is supporting the certification of our D3 turbine with their inverter platform to create the first certified solar-wind hybrid inverter in our market class. We have installed a test turbine on our 20m guyed tower, next to our tilted-down, 12m monopole unit currently undergoing an upgrade, to start the certification process shortly!

The 2024 summer intern crew experienced firsthand the upgrade of a D3 turbine in Essex, NY this week. DWT now manufactures their ducts in-house and the first test articles were put in place yesterday. These 3 interns, Winnie Waweru, Jack Snyder and Cristian Perez all attend Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.
