Melson's Junk & Salvage is a family owned business , serving Powell's Point, North Carolina since 1936. We specialize in the recycling of copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steal, nickle alloy, lead, and lead acid batteries. We are also buyers of automobiles, heavy equipment scarp, steal scrap, we also buy automobile cores which consist of alternators, starters, break calibers, car engines, automatic transmissions, aluminum water pumps, aluminum intakes, and aluminum carburetors , we don't deduct for fluids and tires on the automobiles. If you have the need of a spare tire we also, from time to time, have assorted sizes. Our experienced staff is here to serve your recycling needs no matter if you have a bag of cans or a warehouse full of scarp. We at Melson's Junk & Salvage look forward to doing business with you.
