While the exterior progress has been slower than expected the last few months, we have been full steam ahead on the inside of the new Parish Hall for Sacred Heart Pratt Catholic Church!! Here's a few photos of the inside as of this week!

And....the brick masons have finally arrived!!! They are working on getting their scaffold set up now, and expect to start laying brick on Monday!

Can't wait to see the exterior come together now!

J.A. Knight & Sons is currently hiring for a full-time carpenter position.
Duties include all things related to construction including, but not limited to, demolition, concrete, framing, painting, drywall, finish carpentry, and flooring.

Must be 18 years or older and have a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Benefits include vacation/sick pay and company match Simple IRA plan.
Hourly wage is dependent on experience.
Construction experience is preferred, but not required.

What a year 2024 was for us! Successful and Grateful is the best way to describe it!

We completed over 60 projects in 5 counties last year!

Some of the larger commercial projects we completed last year were…
- Major office expansion and renovation at the offices of Pratt Energy, LLC and Scoular at the ethanol plant
- Expanded the sales floor at BomgaarsSupply by over 7,000sf – Get in there and check it out if you haven’t already!
- Renovated Century Business Technologies, Inc. new office on North Main St
- Completely renovated the Credit Union of America office – our fifth project with CUoA (We love repeat customers 😊)
- Demoed the existing one and constructed a new locker room for Pratt USD 382 at the football practice facility at Iowa and 8th St
- Constructed a new Concession/Restroom/Locker Room facility for St. John - Hudson Tigers USD 350 at their football field in St John
- Replaced windows at the First United Methodist Church and the First Southern Baptist Church Pratt
- We finally started on the massive addition to the Sacred Heart Pratt Catholic Church with the demolition of the existing Rectory & School to make way for the brand new Parish Hall!

On the residential side, we completed our fifth project to date at Lake Arrowhead with an addition and whole home renovation, constructed new houses in Mullinville and St John, as well as many bathroom and kitchen renovations, decks, patios and garages.

As always, we are extremely thankful that these customers, and many more trusted us to turn their dreams into a reality! We are grateful for 2024 and are excited for what 2025 will bring!!
