Project Progress Update!

Work continues on full speed ahead as South Branch Concrete Construction builds out the exterior additions on the NMCC Early Childcare Center. New vestibules and an elevator addition are in the works to give the front of the building a facelift on what's sure to be a great asset to the northern Maine community!

Rain or shine, this crew is getting it done! Trusses (supplied by Aroostook Trusses) started going up on the second Elm Estates building Weds. with seemingly seamless effort. As Bob the Builder says, "What's gonna work? Teamwork!" 😊 And these guys have it!

Maine Construction Academy Jobsite Visit day two!

We were excited to host the students from the Caribou location of the Maine Construction Academy, students from across Aroostook County and a couple nationwide!

They got to experience a lot of information about what happens start to finish at a construction site, a little about our company, and got to hear from some of our subcontractors as well!

Maine Construction Academy Jobsite Visit Day One!

Today, we got to host the students from the Houlton Construction Academy and let them get their hands on some tools and experience what goes on during a normal day as a construction worker. They got to tour our jobsite and learn lots of facts about the company as well as details about the ins and outs of a construction site.

Never heard of the Maine Construction Academy ? Let us tell you! Associated General Contractors of Maine has put together a 4 week program for students to immerse them in the construction industry in every aspect and give them valuable exposure to different career pathways within construction. They are set up for success with classroom teaching, jobsite visits, and hands on learning as well as financial compensation, all necessary protective apparel, tools upon graduation, and job interviews at the end of the program.

Project Progress Update!

Things are moving along nicely over at Elm Estates! The second unit foundation is complete thanks to our friends at South Branch Concrete Construction and ground work is being done by McGillan Inc. Interior work continues steadily in the first unit!

Project Progress!

We've got walls over on the upper level of the NMCC Childcare Center project! Progress has been running quickly and smoothly thanks to some great employees and subcontractors! We've started work on the lower level too which we anticipate shaping up quickly as well!

We're excited for this project to come together and provide a great service to Aroostook County!
