Not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed in the clear view disk from Insight_KB GmbH

I installed this on the machine brand new in early May, and already had pinholes in it about a month in. It still works very well, but I have to squeegee out the coolant once a day. I guess it isn't the end of the world, but I hoped to get at least a year out of them.

Doing some tight clearance deburring in the DVF today. I'm learning to trust the simulation. As long as I feed it good info, it hasn't let me down yet! I have a modified post processor for this machine that outputs the toolholder model, the gage length of the holder, and the stickout of the tool in the tool list at the top of the program, and at each line where a new tool starts which helps me make sure everything is good along the way.

Today we're making dovetail fixtures in the DVF while the other two machines run. There are plenty of options on the market for these, but hardened stainless ones are pricey! We had some 17-4 slugs on the shelf, so they went in the oven to H1150, then into the DVF to become fixtures that hopefully will last us a long time!

I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this thing dance.

All three machines ripping! It's quite a task to keep these things fed by one person, but I'm figuring it out. This will be the view from my "office" for the foreseeable future because the DVF is booked solid, and the DNM and the Lynx always stay pretty busy.

We are officially 5 axis capable here at WarnerWerks! Our new DN Solutions DVF-4000 is locked and loaded to make some cool parts!

Still here. Still grinding. Still building something I believe in.
