Many rapidly developing disruptive technologies and their surrounding eco-systems will bring fundamental change to our political, economic, and social systems over the next decades. Envision aims to inspire students to pioneer a brighter future through the responsible and innovative use of these technologies. To accomplish this, Envision seeks to instill in participants an appreciation and underst
anding of how drastically our world will change as a result of the interactions of these technologies with each other and with existing systems, and in doing so, stimulate further involvement. As such, Envision aims to provide direct exposure to these technologies and the discussion surrounding their implications, foster critical discussion among participants, and build a global network of Envision chapters and technology-specific conferences to make possible continued involvement. Envision serves as a powerful nexus, bringing together a diverse set of individuals - future and current engineers, scientists, programmers, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and policy makers - to a common intent, the future of humanity.
