They’ve been out for a while, but a very cool gadget for many situations. Add as many switches for a light as you want. Then they have to be sync’d together and you can put a switch anywhere for a light anywhere.

Another one powered up in Princeton Hid the service entrance cable with a conduit, in the corner of the pantry and painted to match. Even got to stay up on my drywall game. Situations like this are usually easier to just cut it and then put it back.

New service and main panel for a customer in Bluewell. They didn’t plan on doing this project, but after a power outage in the area, AEP pulled their meter. Claiming a bad lug in their box. (Admittedly, it did need replaced, but they could’ve given them some time with a deadline to get it done) Instead of just killing power on a family with some very small kids.

Another main breaker burnt out for a customer in Green Valley. They called a very well known electrical business in the area first, since everybody knows the number. Quote to repair was $3,900, The first concern was getting the customer approved for financing. 15 years at $40/month, sounds like a good deal, until you do the math. Seems like a predator to me. I did the job in less than an hour, and only cost them $600. Because I went to fix the problem, not to upsell and victimize someone.

Some businesses claim to be 24hr service, but we actually live it. Customer calls at 2:00AM in the morning, has no power and says breaker won’t reset. So I get there by 3:00AM. Main breaker isn’t catching on the reset to go in. Customer is concerned about having refrigerator working and lights , until morning when parts can be acquired. Made a temporary bypass to send power inside for a few hours. (Total hillbilly patch, but it worked). Picked up a new disconnect in the morning and went back to replace. New disconnect dimensions were different than existing. Which created a problem on wire lengths being adequate for swap out. Best solution was pulling internals from new box and putting them in the old box. Worked out perfectly and mounting holes even matched up. Power was restored to normal before lunch time. Heavy rain didn’t give up, but neither did I.

Got an emergency call from Sh**un restaurant in Bluefield a few days ago. Stated they smelled something burning. So it turns out ventilation fan had seized up, but still had power applied. Motor was insanely hot and fortunately didn’t turn into a serious issue. Disconnected and capped wiring to the fan to make it safe till a replacement could be made. New one came today, so it was changed out and all is well. Had to get some chicken and rice, before I left and it was fabulous. Forgot how good that place was.
Only flames they have to worry about now are the ones coming off the steaks.🔥🔥🔥.

Walgreens pharmacy in Logan, switching some of their electrical stuff around for pharmacy remodel.
Roll up/down security door (to keep the crackheads out), new branch for insulin/medicine cooler, outlets for additional registers, lighting changes and more.
Did this job with my buddy and Thor Electric out of Beckley.
