Summary
Accurately diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and installation of residential and commercial HVAC equipment and components including: gas/oil boilers, gas/oil furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems, tankless hot water heaters, etc. *****Potential sign on bonus!
Duties
- Safely travel to/between jobsites as directed by Dispatch
- Maintain clean and well-stocked work vehicle, to include: parts, tools and safety equipment
- Understanding and daily use of Company Flat Rate price book to accurately provide Customers with repair pricing prior to making needed repairs
- Collecting Customer payments at time of service (Cash, check, credit card)
- Collecting of information of all installed equipment on Customer premises, including: make, model number, serial number, filter sizes
- Perform thorough diagnostic procedures on Customer equipment to determine cause of failure and avenues to remedy. Upon repair, thoroughly reassess equipment for any other necessary repairs
- Communicating in clear terms to the Customer the cause of the failure and process for repair
- Participation in Company-provided training opportunities to stay on-par with current technologies
- Identify and discuss with Customer recommendations to improve Customer comfort and equipment safety and reliability
- Thoroughly filling out Work Order form with required information and having Customer sign-off at completion of the job
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years of field experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Valid VA Driver’s License, with excellent driving record
- Well-groomed appearance
- Attention to detail
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic proficiency
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on 100% Customer satisfaction
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Commitment to open communication
