10 years of Eric Schall!
We are celebrating Eric’s 10-year anniversary at ZDS! As Associate Principal, Eric has spent the last decade managing projects within the ID department and has been a key part of our growth and success.
His leadership of project teams, clients, and exceptional work has helped elevate our office beyond what we could have imagined. We are incredibly grateful to have someone like Eric on our team — someone you can always count on and undoubtedly the person you want by your side.

Our latest workplace project for Mobile Beacon was rooted in a simple but powerful idea: design through the lens of who they are. As a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access and helping others stay connected, it was essential that their space reflect those same values.
ZDS shaped a workplace that brings their mission to life—centered on connection, access, and community. The result is a modern, warm, and subtly playful environment designed to support collaboration, spark energy, and inspire the people who use it every day.
We’re excited to see this space come alive and truly work for the team it was built for.

It’s all in the details!
At restaurant at , ZDS was entrusted with sourcing antique Wedgwood drabware to echo the timeless charm of Martha’s Bedford Farm. This display was thoughtfully curated to create an authentic, collected-over-time feel. The soft taupe color with gilded gold highlighted plates were artfully arranged, providing sophisticated and elegant focal points. Each piece was carefully hung using coordinating brass metal plate hangers—adding the finishing touches to the Green Room in the now open Bedford restaurant.
The result? A warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly captures the essence of Martha’s farmhouse estate. Another successful collaboration with and !

What an amazing way to celebrate the grand opening of at !

Bringing Martha Stewart’s iconic farmhouse-inspired restaurant concept to the East Coast, this project was another incredible collaboration amongst ZDS , & in concert with Martha’s team, .

Together, we created a beautiful & welcoming dining experience that captures the warmth and elegance of Martha’s signature style. The timeless design and culinary excellance is outstanding. It’s been such an honor to be part of this extraordinary process.

The Bedford by Martha Stewart is the latest addition to the collection of celebrity chef restaurants at . It’s a must see and experience!
