Congratulations on 5 years! Justin’s story with us started years ago as an intern during his time at Roger Williams University. Today, he’s a Project Captain leading projects through multiple phases across Providence and making a real impact beyond the expectations of his early career.

Justin has a particular talent for working closely with firm leadership and strategic partners on the visionary growth of the city and working to develop ideas into a tangible concept. He’s become especially adept at quickly developing renderings, presentations, and documentation, as these opportunities often demand intense exercises and quick deliverables! You’ll often find Justin in a board hearing after work as critical conversations are had with important city officials.

What’s been especially great to watch is how much Justin has grown into a trusted voice in the room. He’s still early in his career, but instincts of where Providence is headed have made him an important part of the conversations shaping the city. Please take a scroll at some of the projects Justin’s project skills have had a hand in. We’re proud of everything Justin has been a part of over the past five years and the impact he’s already making.

There’s something especially exciting about seeing a building begin to look and feel like the design we first imagined. The facade materials are now coming together and the exterior finishes are nearing completion at East Point Apartments. This multifamily building is becoming increasingly recognizable as the architecture we set out to create.
The sketches tell the story of where it began: ideas, proportions, materials, and moments of the facade taking shape on paper. The construction photos show that vision becoming tangible with each component added and refined. We’re excited to watch this one become real!

The Admiral Street Apartments are “wrapping” up!

We’re excited to see this project take shape as construction continues. With the building envelope coming together, windows now installed, and exterior finishes on the horizon, the vision is quickly becoming a reality.

Swipe through to see the progress. We can’t wait to see the final exterior come to life!

For more than a century, Providence’s Jewelry District was at the heart of the city’s manufacturing economy and a nationally significant center of jewelry production. Rhode Island had become the leading jewelry-producing state in the country by the late 1800s, with hundreds of companies and thousands of workers concentrated in the district’s factories and workshops. The Jewelry District today continues to evolve, connecting Providence’s history of making and innovation with its future.
As a nod to that legacy, our upcoming multifamily project at 33 Bassett celebrates the art of making through both its architecture and its programming. A faceted metal-panel “bracelet” wraps the building’s primary retail frontage, recalling the jewelry (particularly bracelets and brooches) that was historically designed and produced throughout the district. Within the building, residential makerspace studios extend that legacy into the present, giving artists a place to live, create, and sell their work in the heart of downtown.
Today, the neighborhood’s historic industrial buildings remain as reminders of that legacy, while new residential, academic, research, and creative uses have brought renewed energy to the area. We wanted this special element to be at the public-facing entry of 33 Bassett, where residents, pedestrians, and the broader community can experience it. We hope you will, too!

Summer may be winding down, but we're not done celebrating our amazing interns! Meet the trio who spent the summer growing with our Providence office:

Hogan dove into drawing sets and deadlines, collaborating with our teams on master planning, and sketching out design options across multiple projects.

Tiara leveled up her Revit skills, helping with documentation, and getting hands-on experience aiding with document management & site visits.

Brynn, who worked across both our Interior Design and Architecture teams, assisted on job sites and helped pull together presentations with the ID crew.

We're so proud of how much you all grew this summer, and we loved having your energy on the team. Thank you, Hogan, Tiara, and Brynn; we can't wait to see what you do next!
