Shifts in mental health don't usually announce themselves. By the time someone fills out a form, raises their hand, or reaches a breaking point, it's much more difficult to mitigate the effects of mental health conditions.
The gap between feeling okay and feeling mentally burned out is the problem, but there are quiet signs in between. They show up in tone, energy, pauses between words—they show up in 𝘷𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴.
Demand for mental health support is rising everywhere. Health systems, employers, and individuals are all searching for ways to identify conditions earlier, while time and resources stay constrained.
So the question becomes: how do we 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳 without adding more friction?
At Canary Speech, we believe the answer is already there: in the conversations happening every day.
This May, for Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re focused on one idea: What if a simple check-in could actually tell you more?
