General laboring doing foundations and retaining walls for commercial buildings. Applicant must be willing to work in the heat and cold, lift and carry heavy forms and rebar. We work long hours, and travel up to 2hrs from Putman, CT. Typically we work just over an hour away.
Work includes but is not limited to:
General laboring
Setting forms with a form carpenter
Tying rebar
Pouring concrete
Stripping forms
Starting pay is $25/hr. Relative experience can be considered for higher starting wage. Always room to learn the ropes and earn more as well.

Applicant must have experience setting concrete forms. We use plywood 6-bar latch style forms. However, experience with box style forms is acceptable. Must be able to measure for filler panels, figure out which panels/ties are needed. Must be able to take lead and set forms with a laborer, and be responsible for their work. Must be able to set braces, build footing and every other aspect of concrete foundations. Experience tying rebar is preferred but not necessary. Experience reading blueprints is preferred but not necessary.
Starting wage up for discussion. Please provide at least one work reference.

Opening for a laborer doing concrete foundations. Work includes, but is not limited to:
Setting forms
Tying rebar
Carrying forms/rebar
Pouring concrete
The work is hard and fast paced. We work in the heat and the cold. We work up to 2.5hrs away from Putman, CT, however, employees meet at the shop in Putnam and ride in a company truck to the jobsite. The farther the job, the earlier the start time and the later we get back. Our average job is 75min away.
Relative but not job specific experience is taken into consideration, such as use of a laser level, reading plans, general construction labor, layout, running equipment, or concrete flat work.
Experience not required, but preferred. Starting pay is based on experience. Lowest starting wage is $18/hr.
