Sometimes the little jobs are more important than the big ones.

Cindy walked into our offices Thursday afternoon. Her plans for a pig roasting pan for a large party this weekend had fallen through, and a couple other shops told her they couldn’t help with the holidays so close.

Our team sprung into action. People stayed after their shift, moved around production schedules. No one batted an eye or grumbled one bit.

She came Friday morning to pick up her pan.

So proud of our team. The Christmas spirit is alive and well at Laserfab.

General Labor/Production Helper: Employee will be required to perform a variety of production-related functions and activities. Job responsibilities:
Requires discipline and attention to detail at high level of accuracy.
Thoroughly following work orders and job instructions.
Use computer software to track work in process.
Deburring, grinding and part breakout with multiple types of hand tools.
Must be able to consistently lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Operate forklifts.
Strong communication.
Interpersonal and problem solving skills.
The ability to work with limited supervision.
A commitment to customer service.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Have a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility.
Ability to learn to read and understand job travelers and use precision measurement equipment.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand English in order to communicate and understand instructions and safety criteria provided.
Proficient shop math skills. (accurate with decimals and fractions)
Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
Have relevant computer experience, including personal computer basics.
Forklift experience preferred.
