Please REMEMBER ... now that Hurricane Ida has passed, the fly by night contractors emerge. As a business owner I am going to offer some advice. You can take it or ignore it. NEVER give a deposit on a job unless you have a signed contract. Ask to see proof of registered business or license. Make sure they have insurances. These are some things that will help protect you.
