Check out our new ride!! 🚙

This pre owned Yale 8k lb forklift is the newest asset Graywood Fabrication has acquired. This new to us forklift will not only allow us to handle bigger and heavier parts but also allow us to move them around our property more efficiently, saving our customers time and money when parts need to be expedited. This new lift will also allow us to be able to handle up to 8,000 pounds of material at a time as opposed to our previous 5,000 pound lifting capacity.

Wrapping up the first batch of these tank stack racks at Graywood Fabrication!

We’re putting the finishing touches on these 25 bbl tank skids we built recently. The shop has been packed with these but glad that they will be moving out soon due to completion. We have many projects moving through production, and yours could be our next 😉

Quality is always a priority, and we’re proud to say that all these pad eyes passed the customer’s requested MPI testing (Magnetic Particle Inspection). These tanks are ready to rock n roll 🎸

Graywood Fabrication is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

Position Requirements:

✔ Minimum 3 years of welding/fabrication experience
✔ Ability to pass an AWS D1.1 Structural Steel welding test using:

* Flux Core (FCAW)
* Solid Wire MIG (GMAW)
✔ Experience with structural steel fabrication
✔ Fabrication, combo welding, and/or manufacturing experience preferred
✔ Ability to read fabrication drawings is a plus
✔ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Details:

• Full-time position (40+ hours/week)
• Monday – Thursday
• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Occasional overtime and weekend work when required
• Primarily shop-based fabrication, with occasional field work depending on project needs

The next big project by Graywood Fabrication is kicking off!

This 25 BBL offshore tank skid came into our shop needing more than just repairs—it needed a complete structural upgrade, as will 33 MORE. Our team fabricated and installed an entirely new skid frame and reinforced 4-point lifting cage, giving the unit a stronger lifting structure, improved durability, and a significantly longer service life in demanding offshore environments. This is only number 1 of 34 stay tuned for the whole process as we weld them out and get them inspected.

Thanks to Rapid Hydraulics in Houma for the help getting our Piranha back up and running. They had a very quick turn around to get our seals replaced on this ram. Thanks to them, we were able to quickly get back to shearing and bending these 1/4 inch steel plates. Precision forming leads to precision fit up!

Special thanks to Claude and his mechanic, Jarell, who came out to complete the job on a Friday for us! They did great!

Getting started on this repair project. Cutting, prepping and then replacing some parts on these offshore lifting baskets. 8 of 20 units arrived and so far have been stripped of the old parts. They are now waiting for prep and then to have the new parts welded back on! We used a mix of tools and systems to get these parts taken care of as efficient as possible.

This HEM saw is a beast! With over 24 inch’s of cut capacity all the way around @ 90 degrees. Even the ability to automatically adjust to miter at any angle. Complete with an auto air actuated vise and hydraulic guide adjustment. This saw can accomplish any challenge you put up to it.
