Charged Particle Collimators

GammaXact charged particle (protons and/or alpha particle) collimators are passive components offering a wide range (from sub-degree to few degrees) of collimation combined with wide energy range (available for up to 10MeV, 20MeV or larger if required). Our patent-pending collimators offer high normal insidence transmision (>70%), strong out-of-angular-band attenuation, small size/weight, and a range of sizes (25mm, 50mm, 100mm diameter or other custom sizes and shapes are available). Collimators were tested up to over 10g shock and >300K temperature range.

X-Ray Transmitting Charged Particle Blockers

GammaXact offers a range of components that permit efficient EUV and X-ray transmission (at energies down to sub-100eV) combined with strong charged particle (protons, alpha-particles, etc.) blocking up to 10MeV or higher. Such components permit better signal to noise and better longevity of EUV and X-ray detectors that otherwise can be exposed to the beams of charged particles. Our patent-pending components are passive (do not require external power) and are orders of magnitude lower weight/smaller footprint than state-of-the-art solutions.
