New data from the 600-patient SAFETY study demonstrates the value of the Infrascanner in traumatic brain injury triage during Large Scale Combat Operations.

Preliminary results presented at the 2026 Military Health System Research Symposium showed:

• Evacuation times reduced by 25 minutes to 2 hours
• 47% reduction in time to surgery
• 100% sensitivity among patients who ultimately required neurosurgery
• 88.5% of participating clinicians reported that the Infrascanner contributed to a change in patient care
• No reported device failures throughout the seven-month device phase, including winter field conditions

In austere and forward environments where CT imaging, neurosurgery, and rapid evacuation may be limited, portable brain assessment can provide critical decision-support information closer to the point of injury.

We were honored to have Dr. Andres Rubiano, world-renowned neurosurgeon from Colombia, showcase the Infrascanner 2500 at a recent neurosurgical congress in Surabaya, Indonesia.

Attendees participated in a hands-on workshop and learned how Infrascanner is transforming the rapid detection of intracranial hematomas, particularly in emergency and field settings.
