Reminder: Tues June 16th is the monthly meeting for Illiana Antique Power, last meeting before the summer show. Potluck starts at 6:30 and meeting at 7p.m. Terri Wargo will present a program on Warren County History. Hope to see you all at the meeting!

Attention anyone going to Prophetstown State Park this coming Sat. the 13th for the tractor show.......the rain has caused problems for some to get to the park. 9th street coming north out of Lafayette is closed at the river so anyone coming from the south will have to take North River Rd./St. Rt 43 to Burnetts Rd. turn right onto 9th St. then left onto Swisher. I hope this helps. The rain continues to be a big problem over much of our area, be safe and have a great week.

Good Morning Illiana, after a very stormy Sat. evening I hope everyone is safe and dry. Now prepare for a steamy week ahead and more pop up showers, don't know about where you are but we could take a break from the rain for a little while!
Next week the 16th is our June meeting, the last one before the summer show in another month! Time is flying, plan to attend this very important meeting for the final preparations for the show! We will also have a program from Warren County Historical Society about some local history.

📣Attention! Calling all young future old iron enthusiasts!

Have you wished or know someone who wants to get into the hobby, but find it’s too expensive to buy the first piece?

This is your lucky chance! At this year’s summer show, we will be GIVING AWAY this antique Economy engine!

If you’d like to have a chance to win this engine, here is what you need to do:

1. Be between the ages of 10-20 years old
2. Come to the summer show and enter your name into the drawing at the club house
3. Be willing to bring the engine back to Illiana for the next three years to show it off!

With fewer young people getting into the hobby, we see this as our way to give back and get the younger generation interested in antique power!

We hope to see everyone there! The drawing will be Sunday morning, July 19th. You must sign up to win at the show on July 17th or 18th. The drawing does not cost anything to enter.

Illiana Antique Power Association's monthly meeting will be held May 19th, 6:30pm at the Assembly Hall. Potluck meal to start at 6:30 and meeting at 7:00pm. Bring a dish to share and we hope to see you all at the meeting!

Illiana Antique Power is again looking for someone to help with the mowing. This is a volunteer job and usually requires 1 day every week to 10 days unless it gets very dry, naturally it will not be as often. A big "thank you" to Adam Swanson for his fantastic presentation on "How to stay safe from hacks and scams" at our meeting on Tues evening. I'm sure everyone gained some knowledge from his expert advice and guidelines.
