NCSU Minority Engineering Program Fostering relationships with current students and alumni.

The Minority Engineering Programs (MEP) focuses on ensuring a diverse student body at NC State University (NCSU) through recruitment and retention efforts, such as providing academic support, professional development, community building and holistic engagement to ensure an inclusive environment for student success. MEP is a resource for African American, Native American and Hispanic students who w

MEP has been busy, thus far, for Black History Month, with initiatives to positively impact minority student success at NC State University.

"Finally Friday" was hosted February 3rd in Engineering Building II on Centennial Campus to provide an opportunity for students to network with peers, faculty and staff in the College of Engineering, as well as the Career Development Center and Su***de Prevention Services. In addition, this event confidentially combats any food insecurities students may be experiencing. Next, the Diversity Networking Night (DNN) was executed February 6th in Talley Student Union on Main Campus, which allowed for 52 companies to interact with more than 150 students. Many students solidified interviews on-site at the event.
