We recently said goodbye to the one and only Charlie, our top dog here at Roundrock.

Charlie was a treasured member of our team. He brought us so much happiness with his affectionate personality. Everyone here will miss him dearly, but we can all take solace in knowing just how much love he brought into our lives while he was here. Rest in peace, Charlie – you will never be forgotten. ❤️️

Happy 10 Year Anniversary to Bunky, our Senior Account Manager!

Hey Bunky, we have a few questions for you…

Do you remember your first day?

Barely! I know I jumped in fast. Al set up my computer and my email and we started talking about quoting, Flex equipment allocation, and shipping right away.

How has your job changed over the years?

The level of detail required for events has increased drastically. In the early years, it was just internet for production, ticketing, and a little POS. Now, there are dozens of departments, with tons of systems with different kinds of traffic that run on the temporary internet we provide. I’ve had the good fortune of seeing the technology progress from the early stages, to becoming a massive and essential part of these events.

What's your favorite part of the job?

The people I get to work with are definitely my favorite part of the job. I get to work with so many interesting people from our team and our clients. I always say, I get to live the most interesting reality TV show I’ve ever seen on a daily basis.

What's your favorite memory in the last 10 years?

My favorite memory is probably working the Global Citizen Mandela 100 festival at FNB Stadium just outside Johannesburg, South Africa. Getting to work on the other side of the world with so many different local groups to build out the network for the event to host 70k attendees and 10’s of millions of live stream viewers to raise money for the Global Citizen non-profit organization was an amazing and humbling experience that I’m glad I got to be a part of.

The Roundrock Team is proud to support Band Together’s “Mighty Giveback” event tonight at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Downtown Raleigh.

Our Roundrock.Live division supports philanthropic and community events just like this one. This year the Band Together partnership is supporting the United Way of the Greater Triangle to improve housing accessibility in the Triangle area through the power of live music and philanthropy.
