Results are in for the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Wilmington! This beautiful coastal property is just minutes from UNCW, downtown Wilmington, and Wrightsville Beach. The hotel now features updates to both interior and exterior amenities for guests to enjoy.

Updates Include:
• Renovated indoor and outdoor public spaces
• Updated partition wall layouts with modified MEP systems
• New wall and floor finishes, custom pocket doors, and millwork preparations
• Freshly painted exterior and an expanded patio featuring all new finishes, a firepit, and a grilling station

Another local commercial renovation has wrapped up at William B. Umstead State Park, one of Wake County’s most treasured outdoor destinations.

Just minutes from downtown Raleigh, Umstead offers miles of trails, fishing spots, camping areas, and endless opportunities to enjoy an escape from the bustle of urban life. Our crew has been hard at work delivering park wide renovations that enhance the visitor experience and support the park’s long term sustainability.

Here’s what’s new:
• 6 brand new cabins
• 11 RV sites
• 11 tent sites
• A new shower house
• A freshly paved loop road
• Mass grading and tree removal
• A new septic system

Salisbury & Moore Construction is proud to partner with NC State University to support the continued expansion of the 4H Future Farmers of America grounds.

Our local commercial team, led by Angelo Bortoluzi, recently wrapped up a new build project that included a 7,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered metal building, new offices, classrooms, conference rooms, a bioretention pond, and major grading and planting enhancements.

These updates help ensure that NCSU students have access to the hands-on agricultural education and leadership opportunities that shape future careers and strengthen our community.

We’re honored to support our local university here in Raleigh and look forward to many more projects that give back to the place we call home!

Proud to celebrate another successful project! The Hilton Garden Inn in Jackson, Tennessee has officially wrapped up a full renovation, bringing new energy and elevated comfort to a key stop between Memphis and Nashville.

This 93 room refresh touched every corner of the property. From modernized guestrooms and public spaces to an inviting new market area, the hotel now offers a more flexible and welcoming experience for today’s travelers. The redesigned lobby, featuring new layered seating areas and versatile market, allows both comfortable and convenient stay for all guests here for business, family travel, or a quick stop along the way.

Shout out to Kimberly and Derek for successfully delivering this project while maintaining seamless day-to-day hotel operations. And sincere thanks to JLL and Peachtree for the continued partnership and trust.

We’re excited to share that renovations at the Residence Inn by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard are officially complete! This upscale property is located in the heart of the Capitol Riverfront—D.C.’s fastest-growing riverfront neighborhood and one of the largest redevelopment districts in the country.

Our Salisbury Moore crews worked diligently to bring this project to life, successfully navigating a mid-block hotel site with tight storage and limited lay-down space. A huge thank you to Malcolm, Ian, and Rick for their dedication and leadership throughout the renovation, as well as to the local subcontractors and property staff who supported every phase of the work.

Project Highlights include:
• Light-finish renovations to guestrooms and corridors, featuring VWC, lighting, softgoods, and headboards
• Full lobby renovation with an extensive millwork package
• Backlit metal feature wall, ceiling baffles, and new reception desks
• New storefront installation and millwork TV corner
• Moss wall in the dining area and a new hearth at the fireplace

Another West Coast renovation is in the books! Salisbury Moore crews have wrapped up a full renovation of the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside, delivering refreshed guestrooms, corridors, and public spaces several weeks ahead of schedule. This fast-track project showcases the power of teamwork, coordination, and craftsmanship.

The newly updated hotel now features:
• New finishes throughout all areas, including fresh paint, vinyl wallcoverings, carpet & base, and updated FF&E
• Modern window treatments in guestrooms and public spaces
• Upgraded public spaces—lobby/reception, dining/den, fitness center, and laundry room—with new millwork and stone elements, including:
• Coffee station
• Buffet countertops with barn door system
• Decorative shelving
• A striking focal wall at the reception desk

Thank you to Project Manager Dillon and Superintendent Austin for all their diligence and hard work on this project. We’re also grateful for the outstanding hotel staff, ownership team, and local subcontractors who helped bring this renovation to together with both quality and speed.

Renovations are complete at the newly refreshed Sonesta ES Suites – Lake Buena Vista! Located in the heart of Orlando—just one mile from the entrance of Walt Disney World® Resort—this beautiful property has a fresh new look and feel.

Our Salisbury Moore renovation teams worked hard to enhance guestrooms, public spaces, and exterior areas. Project highlights include:
• Updated finishes, casework, and soft goods in guestrooms
• A reimagined front desk, concierge, and coffee shop
• Conversion of office space into a brand-new market
• New FF&E, kitchen installations, and cozy outdoor firepits

Conveniently located just minutes from CLT Airport, Bank of America Stadium, Carowinds Theme Park, and the Charlotte Convention Center, this refreshed property now offers an updated, welcoming experience for travelers visiting the area.

Renovations Included:
• Refreshed guestrooms featuring new wall coverings, carpet, LVT flooring, lighting, and soft furnishings
• Updated corridors with new wall coverings, lighting, and flooring
• Revitalized public spaces with all-new carpet, wall coverings, and furniture
• A new wood accent wall at the reception area, adding a warm and modern focal point

Salisbury Moore is proud to have partnered on the comprehensive renovation of the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island—a large-scale, design-forward transformation recently featured in Hotels By Design.

This full-resort renovation refreshed 340 guestrooms, reimagined public spaces, upgraded F&B and meeting venues, and enhanced exterior amenities—all while the resort remained fully operational and guest experience stayed front and center.
