𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 #𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱® 🌾

You’ve set the stage with a clean start—now it’s time to shut the door on late-season competition. In the final part of our series, we’re looking at the second application of herbicide to ensure your acres stay clean all the way to the elevator.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁" 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆:
To maximize the proprietary safened technology of Highcard, timing and technique are everything during this pre-flood window.

⏱️ 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗲: Aim for 10–14 days after your first application, typically at the pre-flood stage. This catches any "escapes" or late-emerging red rice.

💧 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲: Use 15.5 fl. oz./acre to provide the lethal punch needed for larger grasses. Remember: the seasonal limit is 31 fl. oz./acre—staying on label ensures both performance and crop safety.

🚫 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺: At this stage, grass control is the priority. If you need to tackle broadleaf w**ds, consider separating those applications by 2–3 days to avoid "antagonism."

☀️ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿: Highcard works best when the rice is actively growing. For the best uptake, apply during warm, sunny days.

By nailing this second application, you aren't just killing **ds—you're protecting the yield potential of your Max-Ace genetics. 📈🚜
