THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE IQ CONTRACTING, INC. IS NOW 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED!

We are incredibly proud to share a monumental and exciting milestone: IQ Contracting, Inc. has officially transitioned to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), making us 100% employee-owned.

For over 21 years, IQ has been a leader in providing concrete solutions for our clients in both restoration and new construction environments. Our dedicated team has always been the foundation of our success and will continue to be the key to our growth and prosperity. This transition is a direct result of their hard work and commitment.

As an ESOP company, every employee now has a direct, vested stake in our collective success. This model reinforces our strong culture of ownership, teamwork, and shared responsibility. We believe that when our employees succeed, our company succeeds.

LEADERSHIP AND CONTINUITY

Roberto Nunez, IQ co-founder and president, will retire at year-end. He will, however, remain highly involved as a consultant through IQ Engineering and Consulting, PLLC and as a valued member of the IQ Contracting, Inc. board of directors.

Tim Crawford, IQ co-founder, will continue to lead the company, now serving as President and CEO.

We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to continuing to contribute to our community’s Infrastructure Quality, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and innovation.

Project: Duke Hospital

Today's feature is a one sided architectural wall. This involved using a formliner system to match and tie into an existing wall. This was in a tight space surrounded by occupied facilities and involved coordination with other trades and utilities. It was 14’ tall and 110’ feet long and poured at one time.

Hosted a group of IQ employees for a blueprint reading class on November 16. Thanks to all for voluntarily taking the time to better themselves professionally as well as the level of quality produced by IQ Contracting!

IQ Contracting was thrilled to collaborate with Carolina Civilworks to be able to answer the call of Brinley’s Grading Service to help fill tractor trailers with supplies to help our friends in the NC Mountains. They have done an outstanding job collecting enough to fill THREE tractor trailers and have also provided over 1000 hot meals! They have a fourth truck headed out tomorrow and are still collecting!

Not your typical residential concrete job!!

IQ Contracting is working on a large residential project in Orange County with REdesign.build. REdesign.build is an award winning architect/builder specializing in environmentally responsible, modern architecture buildings.

These walls are uncommonly shaped and designed to support the conventional structure as well as the rammed earth walls that are part of it's unique design.

The one of a kind building elements utilized in this structure require the entire building team to continuously interact, combining experience with creative thinking to keep it moving forward while maintaining the high quality standards required.

Enjoyed a wonderful training opportunity to learn and grow in our repair and restoration practices!

David Tepke, PE was only too happy to have participated in International Concrete Repair Institute - (ICRI)’s Concrete Repair Applicator Pilot in Raleigh on February 29. He credits the other hardworking Task Group members, led by Mark LeMay, who developed and refined the training pilot. There was a great turnout and the attendees themselves were enthusiastically engaged. “I was amazed… [with] … Tradespeople are the engine that drive the concrete repair and rehabilitation industry. That engine was firing on all cylinders last week!”
