Today October 1, 2024 marks 11 years owning R Mechanical Heating & Air.
I'm not sure how we even got this far with all the challenges we have faced. It is a very tough world out there for small business owners with employees. We struggle to get experienced service technicians and especially experienced service technicians that want to work residential properties.
No one will ever understand what it takes to own your own business unless you have been there with your own. We have put so many long days and nights, so many sleepless nights because our brains never shut off, the tears and I mean a lot of tears we have shed because somedays you just feel like you can't do anything right for the company or for the technicians, the missed invitations to be with family and friends, the employee obstacle's we have faced, making sure everything is perfect for our company and our employees, it truly is a never ending battle and we just never get to just clock out and go home with no worries on our minds.
We want to be that company that you call when you are having boiler issues, furnace issues, AC issues and water heater issues and having our customers understand that sometimes we just can't get to you until the following day or we just don't have enough technicians to take a duct work job or an installation.
We want to be that company that makes our customer's happy and know that they are in good hands and for them to know that we would never screw them over. We have customers that pull up a chair and talk and ask questions with the technicians while they are working, their kids come down and hand our technicians pictures they drew for them and talk and ask the technicians questions (because you never know who you will inspire to be a HVAC technician one day), that's who we are and will continue to be that way.
We don't want to be that company that pays people for reviews, pays technicians that make commission on everything they sell you whether you really need it or not just for their bonus check every week or month, or just plain goes out and under cuts other companies and then does sh*tty work.
We have very loyal customers that have been with Steve for over 20+ years, we have our friends that our loyal to us and have given out countless recommendation's to their friends and families and giving us a recommendation on social media pages to other people about us, we could not do this without you.
We have also found out that social media can be very tough and or very good for a small businesses like ours, the last thing you want to happen is for someone to talk bad about your dreams and the creation that you have put so much hard work in to, it absolutely crushes us.
Steve and I love this business with everything we have!
We want our customers to be happy with how we treat them and do our business.
We want to have R Mechanical for a very long time to maybe pass on to our grandkids or someone that will work hard and that cares about R Mechanical and customers like we do.
We thank you for all the support, reviews and good words you have spoken to us and for the customers that have become family to us, we will continue to fight this fight and are praying that small businesses like ours can find relief in the battles that we face on a daily basis.
