Stand for a post vice that I have wanted to mount properly for an age.

Truck hub base is filled with high impact concrete. I used rebar in the shape of a pound sign and burlap to make a mechanical connection between the concrete and the truck hub. In hind sight I would have used long eye bolts but what do you do.

New shape for my hoof picks. Much more of a tapered shape for the hook. The old design is lying down behind the new ones. You can see how square the pick was.

Stamped keychains on the block today. Still need to put the touchmark on but that’ll be hot. Then drill, hot wax, and key ring.

Tongs were too long. Waste not! Made four mini blade pendants from the cutoffs

Finished yesterday’s tong project. It took longer than I thought but I really like the final product. Steps I took today are listed

Cut tongs from stock
Forge scarf
Forge reins
Electric weld
Grind to fit
Drill and rivet
Trim bit and reins
Use wedge to hold negative space in bit
Final grind and oil finish
Time to work

Tong making today. Made three sides, liked two. Forging done for now. Next cutoff, grind to fit, drill and rivet, weld reigns, and finish the bit.

She’s a spin’n!! Got the exhaust fan put up in an area that will pull heat when the summer hits. Gotta keep those tourists as cool as possible. Boy how they like to complain about the heat while I’m standing by a fire. Hahahahahahahaha😆🤣😂 🇺🇸
