Established in 1919, Heavy Constructors, Inc. has paved its way from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Rapid City where it has established deep roots in the community. Currently, with our divisions Gustafson Builders and Excavating Specialists, we have become one of the most diversified general contractors in South Dakota and the region! Heavy Constructors is our complete civil contracting division. We

This division is also responsible for structural work that includes bridges, culverts and parking structures. Gustafson Builders is our commercial building division. We tackle projects ranging from $500,000 to $30,000,000 and up. This division utilizes its recourses from our other two divisions to keep our projects on time and cost effective.
