With safety being our number one priority grounding training is a must. The focus of this training was to learn proper grounding on high voltage foundation drilling such as substations and transmission line projects.

We are excited and proud to share that Kelly Stern, our safety director, received the Paul Lepthien award last Wednesday at the AGC convention in Sioux Falls. This prestigious award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the area of construction safety and health and Kelly has done just that. His humor, humility and approach is everything when it comes to the title of safety director and we couldn’t be more grateful to have him be a part of our team.

First of 2 box culverts on highway 385 is near completion. Last pour was made this past week. This box consists of 900 cubic yards of concrete. Hats off to our paving crew for switching gears and taking on some box culvert work rather than concrete paving.

These ladies don’t get enough recognition for everything they do in the office. So for Administrative Professionals day they were treated to lunch away from phone answering, emails etc…

We had a lot of fun at the AGC Construction Career Camp yesterday. Our team helped the students build over 300 boot jacks 🙂
