ISO :DIESEL MECHANICS
• Job Description: We are looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain/repair our fleet of trucks/equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to furnish quality major and minor in-house repairs to the Tractor/equipment fleet in a timely and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of - with some assistance: Engines (gas and diesel), Power train to include differentials, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, PTO's and wheel ends, Electrical systems including starters and alternators, HVAC systems, Steering systems, Electronics to include ECM's, ECU's, sensors etc., Engine bolt on items such as turbos, fan clutches, injectors, cooling system etc., Brake systems including ABS, Suspension systems (spring and air)
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• This position should be a person who has the total knowledge of most repairs overhead and maintenance of equipment.
• This person is capable of working alone and with little or no supervision.
• May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment.
• Performs other duties as directed.
• Performs Post Trip Inspections.
• Repairs and replaces tires, clutches and brakes.
• Able to identify and communicate opportunities for work process improvements. Can resolve common technical problems.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles
• Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to work any schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Shall be consistently capable of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines in a shop, fleet or road side assistance.
• Own tools and excellent driving record
• Capability of independently analyzing and safely resolving problems
• Capacity to demonstrate technical knowledge of diesel systems, materials, methods and tools to perform, prioritize and complete work
• Candidates must provide their own basic tools, have a clean driving record, and be extremely safety oriented. Candidates should have 5+years of experience in truck and/or heavy equipment working with equipment such as skid steers, bulldozers, excavators, rollers, etc. Successful candidates must be reliable and work under minimal supervision.

• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
• Able to provide information to supervisors and co-workers
• Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers
• (We provide company specialty tools for usage while in shop)
• Perform welding repairs as needed using arc, wire, tig, and gas welds.
• Use cutting torches to cut and lay out basic designs.
• Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
