Life is all about taking the good along with the bad. Just have to learn to be thankful in all circumstances and focus on the positives rather than the negatives.

Thankfully the good Lord held the rain off just long enough to get the rough grade and pond knocked out.

Often times people look at me crazy and laugh whenever i mention that I pray over equipment and job sites daily, it’s actually one of the very first things I do whenever I arrive on location.

But what they fail to realize, I am who I am today because of God. I am where I am today because of God. This business is only because of God. This job site is dry today because of God.

Multiple occasions I’ve witnessed storms heading directly to me, so what do I do? I pray. I pray to the same God who parted the sea, the same God who rescued Daniel from the lions den. I pray to the same God who raised my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from the tomb.

I’ve watched storms literally break up and go completely around me meanwhile all surrounding areas are hit with heavy rains. Have I prayed to miss rain before and it smoked me instead? Yes, I may not understand it but God always has a bigger picture and may his will always be done.

This ain’t some post to brag about how my jobsite is dry and yours is wet. This is simply me bragging about my God. The one who saved me 5 years ago and changed me into who I am today. I’m far from perfect, but if Jesus can perform these miracles for me, he can do the same for you.

God is so much bigger than any storm you may find yourself in. Pray and he will deliver you from any trial and tribulation. His will is always better than our plans. I challenge any of you who read this til the end, whatever situation you may be in right now. Physically, emotionally, financially or spiritually, call on the name of Jesus and watch what he can do in your life.

For those of you who haven’t already heard, we will be transitioning from “Millers Dirt Works” to “F3 Construction”. This transition is something we’ve been praying about for a while now and God has once again provided. I will still be providing the same quality services just under a new company name.

For those of you wondering where the name “F3” came from or what it stands for. Me and my beautiful bride Morgan have two beautiful boys, Beckett and Easton. One day I was brainstorming business names and what not, then it clicked. In hopes of one day Beckett and Easton working along side me which would make it the 3 Fontenot’s Construction.

Without God none of this would have been possible. From the very beginning we have been blessed tremendously. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have trusted us to tackle their projects and property improvements. Thank you to everyone who shares our post and for all of the word of mouth referrals. None of it ever goes unnoticed. We look forward to continue serving all of Acadiana and surrounding areas.
