The Reading Science Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Downtown Reading. Our vibrant 7,000 square foot space featuring STEM exhibits provides educational and entertaining hands-on STEM experiences for families, schools, and the Greater Reading Community. The Reading Science Center is open to the Reading community Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.

This summer, the Reading Science Center is giving students the chance to experiment, solve problems, build confidence, and discover how science connects to the world around them. From recreating historic discoveries at Reading Science Camp to exploring STEM careers at Girls Inventing the Future Summer Camp, each program encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration through interactive activities and exhibit exploration. Thank you for making Celebrate Science Day such an incredible community event! ✈️ Over 1,000 people joined us at Reading Regional Airport to experience science activities, aviation-themed experiences, demonstrations, local organizations, and interactive fun throughout the afternoon. One of the best parts of the day was seeing families learning, exploring, and making memories together in such a unique setting. Events like this are only possible because of strong community support and collaboration.

We are grateful to our volunteers, community partners, airport partners, and every family who spent the day with us. Most importantly, thank you to our sponsors for helping us provide this event free of charge for the community. Enjoy some of our favorite moments from the day 📸

Tomorrow we celebrate science!! From rockets to robotics, helicopters to honeybees, Celebrate Science Day brings together more than 30 science activities in one place at Reading Regional Airport. The event is almost here and we are ready for takeoff on Sunday, May 3 from 1 to 5 PM. Families will move through a wide range of experiences spanning aviation, health science, engineering, nature, technology, and earth science, each offering a different way to explore how science shows up in everyday life. Each station is a chance to try something hands-on, ask questions, and see science come to life in different ways. Free admission and free parking ✈️
