In high school, I took every course that involved industrial technology such as drafting, architecture, machining, and designing. One thing that stuck out to me was the design process and metal artwork. I got extremely familiar with designing metal signs and soon found myself to be drawing up signs and com

ing up with different ideas daily. When I was 19 years old, I started my own hobby by investing in a CNC plasma cutting table. After I bought the table, I decided that I needed to come up with a name for my business. Blossom Hill Metalworks comes from the businesses that my family owns, which is Peach Blossom Hill and Pumpkin Blossom Hill. Of course, metalworking is quite different from raising peaches and pumpkins, but the work required to put in is equal. I quickly learned the ropes and continue to learn every day of operation. Of course, I’m also in college which can make me trying to grow my business extremely difficult, but I continue to find time to design and produce metal signs.
