A project worth celebrating. 🎉

On September 11, 2026 we joined the Orick community and project partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the Orick CSD Tank 2 Replacement Project.

Building on the successful Tank 1 replacement, this project replaced an aging, leak-prone tank with a new 100,000-gallon glass-fused, bolted-steel tank designed to meet current seismic standards. The $1.58 million project also included site piping upgrades, SCADA improvements, a 90-kilowatt backup generator, and two radio communication towers—all helping strengthen the reliability and resilience of Orick’s water system.

PACE Engineering is proud to have worked alongside Orick Community Services District, Wahlund Construction, KC Engineering Company, ENPLAN, and the many individuals who helped bring this important infrastructure project to completion.

For a small community, dependable water infrastructure makes a big difference. It was great to gather with the people behind the project and celebrate another investment in Orick’s future.

There’s a lot to celebrate behind these tank photos. 💧🏆

The Centimudi Water Storage Tank has received the 2025 Outstanding Water Project Award from the ASCE Sacramento Section!

The approximately $6.7 million project adds 2.45 million gallons of potable water storage capacity to the City of Shasta Lake’s water system. PACE Engineering provided surveying, civil, structural, and electrical and instrumentation services, coordinating the tank site, utility connections, electrical systems, controls, and other infrastructure needed to support its operation.

The project also marked our team’s first experience with a pre-stressed concrete water storage tank—making the finished product and its recognition especially rewarding.

We’re grateful to have worked alongside the City and the many project partners who helped make it happen. Congratulations to the entire team on a well-earned recognition!

PACE Engineering continued our tradition of supporting local 4-H kids by purchasing two pigs at the Shasta County Fair. After plenty of anticipation (and one very important drawing), the 8 lucky winners (pictured above) got to take home a share of locally raised pork—from bacon and sausage to pork chops and more. 🥓

What makes this tradition so special goes beyond what’s headed for the dinner table. It’s a chance to support hardworking local youth, recognize the time and dedication they put into raising their animals, and share the result with our own team.

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation and the lives of so many.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost, honor the first responders and everyday heroes who answered the call, and recognize the families and communities who carry their memories forward.

A quarter century has passed, but the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown in the face of tragedy remain with us.

The final countdown is on! ⏰💪

Since kicking off our Wellness Challenge in May with Bike Month, PACErs have been finding all kinds of ways to get moving, try something new, and rack up points for their teams. Participating in group bike rides, hikes, spin classes, escape rooms, and everything in between, it’s been a fun few months of friendly competition.

Now, with our Wellness Challenge wrapping up, there’s still time to get those last points in before the final totals are counted at the end of September!

Which team will come out on top? The competition isn’t over just yet. 🏆

A little fresh air, a lot of trail miles, and some pretty incredible views. 🥾🏔️

Some PACErs hit the trail on a backpacking trip to Sky High Lakes. Between the miles, mountain views, and time around camp, it was a great chance to unplug, recharge, and enjoy some quality time together outside of work.

Good people make the tough climbs a little easier—and the views at the top even better.

🐶🪙 Pennies for Puppies is back!

We’re proud to support Haven Humane with a fundraiser that proves even the smallest change can make a big difference.

Each jar is headed to a local school where students can drop in their extra pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters to help support animals in need. Every coin adds up—and gives students a fun way to come together for a great cause. 🐾💛

Every coin counts, and every student can be part of helping local animals get the care they deserve. So check those couch cushions, empty those piggy banks, and let’s fill these jars!

Tom Warnock and Miles Quaife had the opportunity to represent PACE Engineering at the RCAC CalTAP Fair, where they presented on our Somes Bar - Junction Elementary School Arsenic & Hexavalent Chromium Remediation Project.

Events like this give our team a valuable chance to share what we’ve learned in the field, connect with others working through similar water challenges, and have meaningful conversations about creating safe, dependable water systems for the communities they serve.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to speak and connect with others who care about making a difference in their communities. Thanks to RCAC for bringing everyone together!

While the athletes were flying our crew at Bike Aid Station #5 was there to keep them hydrated and fueled! 🚴💨

A big thank you to our PACE Engineering volunteers who spent the day handing out supplies, cheering loudly, and supporting not only our own PACErs, but every athlete who came through the station.

It was a full day of teamwork, encouragement, and plenty of fast handoffs! 🙌 We loved being part of Redding’s first annual Ironman 70.3 and helping athletes get one step—or pedal—closer to the finish line.

What a race—and what an accomplishment! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge congratulations to our PACErs Adam Nichols, Howard Evans, Dylan De Leon, and Monica Acord for completing the full Redding Triathlon! And congratulations to Joey Nickerson for hitting the course as part of a relay team 💪🎉

Taking on the full course takes months of preparation, determination, and plenty of grit. We’re proud to see our teammates set a big goal, put in the work, and cross that finish line.

PACE Engineering was also proud to be out on the course supporting the event, with our volunteer crew helping at Bike Aid Station #5 and cheering on competitors throughout the day.

Congratulations to Adam, Howard, Dylan, Monica, and Joey—and to every athlete who took on the challenge. It was a great day to see the community come together and celebrate an incredible accomplishment.
